What can be done, if there is a problem in the community, which is in no hurry to decide? Where to start to change the situation? What tools of influence should be used first? This is exactly what was discussed at the training on civic activism at the Women's Club. Serhii Kornilyuk conducted it – head of the international relations department of DonNTU, local development expert.
They talked about that, how each of us can contribute to change – through petitions, public hearings, requests, participation in consultations or advocacy initiatives. They analyzed the tools of influence, which will be relevant first, та ділилися власним досвідом.
But the main thing, what the meeting reminded of, – that behind any tools there are people. It is they who create the dialogue, raise important topics, support each other and move the community forward. Women at Happy Women CLUB – example of that, how the desire to act turns into concrete steps. They ask questions, share experience, support and prove each other, that change starts there, where there is initiative.
Every meeting in the club – this is inspiration and belief in that, that activity has a female face.
