🌍 Representative of a public organization “TAKE and GLORY” involved in an important international event in Sweden. Umeå - ICLD Conferences (Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy), dedicated to the topic “Democracy and stability for Ukraine”. This forum has become a powerful platform for exchanging ideas 💡, showed solidarity 🤝 and development of local leadership 🏘️ in conditions of war and challenges, which appeared before the Ukrainian communities.
During the conference, ICLD solemnly presented the Network of Democratic Sustainability, an innovative initiative, which unites 13 Swedish 🇸🇪 and 13 Ukrainian 🇺🇦 municipalities in a common desire to strengthen democratic practices 🗳️, Strengthen the sustainability of local communities 🛡️ and promote sustainable local development 🌱.
This partnership is based on the exchange of experience, joint training 📘 and supporting the institutional capacity of local self -government bodies. Representatives of Ukrainian and Swedish communities are shared by management practices, digital transformation 💻, social cohesion 🧩 and crisis response 🚨. For NO “TAKE and GLORY” Participation in such activities is an important step for introducing new approaches in working with affected communities, In particular, those, who take IDPs and overcome the consequences of war.
The initiative of the democratic sustainability network directly supports the goal of sustainable development of the UN # 16 - peace ☮️, Justice ⚖️ and strong institutes 🏛️, By focusing on inclusive governance, Transparency, accountability and long -term stability of local institutions 🔍.
