Since February 2025 year in Drohobych there is a consultative center for women, who want to open a business or do the case, which is most in the interests. Local dwellers may also be contacted here, and IDPs. 18 March on the initiative of the Center took place the first training in the development of business skills.

The NGO Ber and Slavye implements the project "Support of Women of the Drohobych Community on the Way to Socio-Economic Independence". This is what a consulting center was created, in which not only advise, but also conduct current trainings and training of women, who want to open their own business.
The first of the four trainings, which will help women gain business skills, happened 18 March.
“Our project is flexible, Therefore, it involves comprehensive support for women in the process of their socio-economic integration. Often women have a creative class, which could be turned into a business, or an idea, which could become their business. But cannot take the first step towards opening their business. There may be several reasons, But most often they just don't know, Where to start, What risks can be, what is worth considering ”, - explains Natalia Starodubets, Head of NGO "Take and Glory". According to her, Entrepreneurial education will enhance women's capabilities, who took part in training.
Interactive exercise to generate business ideas
The training took place at the Bogdan Lepky Drohobych Scientific Lyceum. About the possibility of obtaining grants and vouchers to study for women, who want to do their own business or change their profession, Maria Sukhoverskaya told, Head of the Department for Work with Employers of Drohobych Branch of the Lviv Regional Employment Center. And the practical aspects of supporting entrepreneurs shared Denis Uvarov, IDP Council Chairman at the Executive Committee of Drohobych City Council.
The training was conducted by Valentina Galushko, Candidate of Technical Sciences in Economics, Entrepreneurship Consultant. Theoretical information is combined with practical – attendees took part in an interactive exercise, To learn to generate business ideas of just one familiar to all subjects. The trainer suggested that participants come up with, what can be done with stationery adhesive tape: ideas were at least twenty.
The training participants also learned:
- What are the forms of business;
- What form of business activity can and even worth selecting, How to register it;
- Which taxes will need to be paid in the process of doing business;
- How to make a business plan and strategically plan it.
“The first training from the Advisory Center was just about, that priority should be done, If a woman wants to start her business or start engaging in, that will bring pleasure and profit at the same time. This is just the beginning of the project, After all, the following are planned training from social media, acting workshops, Workshops from craft production and graphic design », - says Natalia Starodubets.
