After the start of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, energy security became one of the key challenges for Ukraine. The destruction of the energy infrastructure has forced communities to look for alternatives for heating and electricity. In response to these challenges, NGOs “TAKE and GLORY” implemented complex measures for energy saving in Beryslav Territorial Community of Kherson Region, becoming an example of an innovative approach to solving energy problems.
- Training on energy saving.
Employees of communal institutions of the Beryslav community have undergone specialized training, which helped them gain knowledge and skills to implement energy-efficient solutions in their work.
- Energy audit of buildings.
An energy audit of the premises of the Department of Social Protection of the Population was conducted. This assessment helped identify weaknesses in the building's energy balance and develop recommendations for their elimination.
- Methodological recommendations for communities have been developed.
Developed METHODOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS BASED ON THE ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF THE COMMUNITY'S TRANSITION TO HEATING WITH FUEL BRIQUETTES on the justification of the economic feasibility of the transition of the community to heating with fuel briquettes. Methodical recommendations include calculations of the required amount of raw materials, analysis of economic benefits and description of the practical experience of the transition.
