
The first event held was a seminar on the advantages of heating with fuel briquettes for own households, which was attended by the management, elders and residents of the eldership districts of the Berislav community. The seminar was conducted by an expert on energy efficiency, Andriy Barulin, accredited consultant of the European Energy Award.
The participants of the seminar learned in detail about the principles of operation of solid fuel boilers and their characteristics, what are the types of solid fuel and what are the features of their use, what are the advantages of using fuel briquettes for household heating.
When discussing the results, the participants noted the importance and relevance of the project and the justified advantage of using locally produced fuel briquettes for heating their own households.
The project "Increasing the energy independence of the Berislav city community by creating the production of fuel briquettes" is implemented within the framework of the financial assistance of the Program “U-LEAD with Europe”, which is jointly financed by the European Union and its member states Germany, Poland, Sweden, by Denmark, Estonia and Slovenia.
