👋 Took part in a series of trainings on the topic: “I am a volunteer and the development of Regulations on engaging volunteers and a sample contract with volunteers”
🧑🏼💼 Conducted by Oleksiy Bozhonok – a trainer with volunteer experience more than 3 years and a representative of the NGO “Eco-coalition of the Kherson region”, GO “All-Ukrainian youth movement “Let’s do it, Ukraine””, GO “The Student Parliament of the CSEU” and GO “Center for social partnership “Perspective””.
👥 Participants had the opportunity to hear and learn about the following topics, as:
🔹️"Volunteer and volunteering"
🔸️"Volunteering in modern conditions of martial law"
🔹️ "Legal principles of volunteering, rights and obligations of the volunteer and the organization"
🔸️"Development of the volunteer community and further involvement of volunteers"
🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♀️ During structured discussions and exercises, participants will deepen their knowledge about, who are the volunteers?, what are the basics of volunteering, learned to distinguish volunteer activity from other spheres.
🔉 Based on what I heard, teams had the opportunity to develop their own “the perfect volunteer” and the strategy of its activity.
🪖 They got acquainted with new opportunities for volunteering in modern conditions of martial law and with the safety rules of volunteering in dangerous zones.
🇺🇦 Next, The team thoroughly familiarized itself with the legal principles of volunteering in Ukraine on the basis of ZU “About volunteering”
📄 However, in the course of discussions and legal norms, they developed a sample contract with a volunteer and presented it.
🗣 The event was extreme, which gave the community the opportunity to strengthen its cooperation with volunteers and learn about the ways of their active involvement and during the exercises were able to see the main aspects for the development of the volunteer movement in the public organization and further communication with them and the importance of leading, both verbal and non-verbal communication with the entire team.
