We do not stop at supporting the participants of our space, so we are looking for options, which are interesting, useful, allow recovery and emotional balance. Recently, we had a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the world of craft cheese making, after attending a master class at the Faino cheese factory in Truskavets. It was founded by Olena Trofymenko, originally from Mykolaiv, which moved to Drohobychchyna with the beginning of a full-scale invasion.
Women from different parts of Ukraine gathered at the master class, so another meeting outside space was special. Everyone was able to create craft cheese with their own hands, having mastered the intricacies of technology.
But the master class was valuable not only because of new knowledge. The most important thing is the atmosphere of support, friendship and mutual joy. Women shared their impressions, laughed, helped each other and were inspired by the experience of each participant.
We believe in the "Take and Glory" NGO, that such events are important not only as learning new skills, but also as a way to find a resource, support and inspiration for personal development. Each master class is a small adventure, new knowledge, emotions and sense of community, which inspires new achievements.
Thank you to Faino cheese factory for the hospitality and the opportunity to feel part of the crafting process, and to our participants for curiosity, openness and willingness to try new things. There are still many interesting events and opportunities for development ahead.
The master class was organized by the NGO "Bera i Slav" as part of the project, implemented by a consortium led by the Danish Red Cross in partnership with the Danish Council for Refugees and Dignity with the support of the Denmark Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
