A mobile summer cinema was created in the Beryslav territorial community of the Kherson region.

What is the problem?

In the de-occupied settlements of the community today an extremely difficult security situation. Many education and culture establishments are virtually erased by Russian invaders from the face of the earth.

However, life goes on, and local residents, including youth and children, need action and classes, which would distracted from the difficult daily life at the front.

What a decision?

So in Berislavska a mobile summer cinema was created for the territorial community of the Kherson region.

How it works?

“Mobile cinema” is an example of that, how, thanks to the implementation of the project, it is possible to influence the situation and create a space for communication in safe conditions.

The first event for the residents of the community was quite successful and gathered many participants.

As noted, due to the proximity of the front line Children are forced to gain knowledge remotely, because of which there was a request from parents to local authorities to provide schoolchildren with the necessary means for effective distance learning.

Therefore, a solemn ceremony was organized for the students of educational institutions of the community distribution of gadgets for training from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). After receiving them, the children stayed on watching a cartoon.

Meanwhile, their parents were able to get the counseling they needed. Proposals were also accepted, which will be taken into account when planning the next meetings.

Project “Organization of meaningful leisure time for residents of the Beryslav territorial community by creating a mobile summer cinema” implemented within the framework of the grant competition “Strengthening public participation in early recovery processes in the liberated territories”, which is administered by ISAR Unity with the support of the Foundation “Partnership for a strong Ukraine” and financed by partner countries.
